BioI am a developer at Microsoft working on the next versions of Windows. I majored in Computer Science and Math at CMU, and I recently completed my CS master's degree at UW(ashington).
I am an avid bridge player, music lover, puzzler, board gamer, and roleplayer. For most of my life I've played a musical instrument or another. I played viola for years, but wanted to switch to an instrument I could sing and play pop music with, so I took up guitar. I became barely competent at that before switching to mandolin, which leveraged my existing Viola skills more than guitar did.
I wrote a contemporary fantasy book called The Essence which I never really attempted to publish, but I really like it. :-)
